ive always been a direct drive man.. you know that Wink

clutches do have a potential, for example in the wet, if you spin out you can just keep going. but this is possible in a DD kart, as if your like me, if you spin in the wet you just keep your foot planted and keep the rear wheels spinning Wink

but i have seen people have problems with their starters over the years, but that was not happenning that often.

im guessing im an old school kinda karter. i prefer the direct drive. nothing better than the push starts Laughing ask darren about pushing karts off the grid Wink

but time is moving on, take a look at the rotax classes. push button starting and muchos power Wink

i may be a Direct drive man, but times are changing in the karting world!!!
