clutched or direct drive???
opinions for and against the clutched or direct drive option for 100cc karts???
and tom before you post anything about clutches being for pusseys remember, not everyone is an old timer like yourself!!!!

ive always been a direct drive man.. you know that
clutches do have a potential, for example in the wet, if you spin out you can just keep going. but this is possible in a DD kart, as if your like me, if you spin in the wet you just keep your foot planted and keep the rear wheels spinning
but i have seen people have problems with their starters over the years, but that was not happenning that often.
im guessing im an old school kinda karter. i prefer the direct drive. nothing better than the push starts ask darren about pushing karts off the grid
but time is moving on, take a look at the rotax classes. push button starting and muchos power
