Thought id better get the first project underway!

sat in my garage is my old tonykart TKM. still in good condition, but not used for sometime now! so im thinking of giving the old girl a'hytune' refurb.

strip the kart down, change of colour (hytune orange, obviously!!) and a rebuild up to get her back to its glory days!!!

ill try to start this shortly and upload pics of my progress along the way Smile

then possibly sell on to a karting enthuiast, and buy another one!!! Laughing

lol

as you can imagine, i havent got very far with this lately, family commitments took its tole and the kart had to be put on hold

though i have stripped the chassis down and is ready to go to the powder coaters, Wink Hytune Orange here we come Wink

we have a good contact in the powder coating world and can any chassis + majority of karting parts powder coated in many colours for very competitive prices... email me for more information Wink

Just waiting for Daz to get his chassis ready so we can send them at the same time Wink

once the chassis is back it wil lbe time to remake the floor tray, am thinking carbon, but will more than likely used aluminium. and then the list to buy all the shiny bits to make it more up to date looking Wink

also need to make my mind up on a style of bodywork to use Smile

Hey all

Got some funny looks and some quirky comments last Saturday as i turned up at Blackbushe with a bare frame and a load of parts!!

trying to build the kart at the garage was prooving difficult to get down there, and at home a little monster was taking up any free time i had! so i decided to take it all to the track and build it in the surrondings of other karters and friends. With the task evermore getting easier it seemed i would be out for the afternoon... untill the rain took over and the sessions were cancelled for the rest of the day Sad

oh well, prooved i still got it and its ready to go for the next time Wink see you all there!!
