Re: Autosport International @ NEC
meh.. well saw many lovely ladies yesh a mush!!!
but none of you lot!!! ( apart from Daz and Ratty as they was in the car with me!)
Was an ok show, as the last couple of years, it seems to get smaller and smaller!
one thing that bugged us all is that the entrance ticket now includes the live action arena wheather you want it or not and costs you £29 !!! outrageous!!!
but it was a good day out, managed to blag a good deal for a new suit so its game on for 2010!!
would love to hear others thoughts on the show if you went up!!!

To add to tome comment about the live action arena, we were offered a couple of different veiwing times and were told that the final show was a longer one and a spectacular, only to find out that it was an oval racing show and nothing more, which for myself and ratty is cool as its our background and was still very entertaining. however for the man in the street expecting to see maybe terry grant doing some stunts of some drifting rally cars would have been very disappointed, it would have been nice to be told when given the options that the last show was oval only?!
Also whilst im having a rant, you pay £29 for entry, you pay £8 to park your car and then if you want to feed yourself its £5.50 for a hot dog or £7.00 for a burger, nearly £2 for a bottle of coke or water, its such an expensive event i an concearned the promoters (haymarket publishings) will alienate the real fans who keep motorsport in this country alive! maybe a cheaper venue is required???? Food for thought?!!! Rant over LOL!!!!!!
